Due to popular demand and peer pressure Mendocino Stories & Music Series has added another event to the Spring season. Having the choice of booking a Steven Bates Trio isn’t such a tough decision. Come on out for a Rock and Roll Dance with Steven Bates, Ralph Humphrey and Jon Faurot on Saturday, April 19. Music starts at 7:30PM at Hill House of Mendocino.
The Trio, featuring Steven Bates on guitar and vocals, will be doing a combination of Steven’s original music and rock and roll dance tunes. Fort Bragg native, he started playing music at school dances by age 13 and has been seen lately at the Whiskey a Go Go in LA. Drummer Ralph Humphrey is currently the drummer with Dancing with the Stars, although he's had a fantastic music career outside of that. Joining the trio is Jon Faurot on bass. John is also an excellent guitarist and he brings that skill to the bass. Jon has played with many other musicians in different collaborations such as BobFest and Beatle Fest in 2013.
