Tickets on Sale & Volunteer Sign Up Day for Mendocino Film FestivalThe Mendocino Film Festival is celebrating its ninth year of bringing independent films and filmmakers to Mendocino County and its visitors. From May 29 – June 1, the Festival will screen three 2014 Academy Award winners, offer Cinema in the Vineyards, children’s programs, the popular shorts programs, special events with special guests – in the charming towns of Mendocino, Fort Bragg, Point Arena, Philo, and Willits.
For all film screenings and events, tickets go on sale Thursday, May 1. Purchase your tickets in advance to avoid sold out shows at www.MendocinoFilmFestival.org, by calling 707 937-0171, in person Thursday – Tuesday, May 1 – May 27, 12 – 4 p.m. at the Festival office in the yellow water tower on Ukiah St. next to Frankie’s in Mendocino.
The Mendocino Film Festival can’t present such an extensive film program in multiple venues in that many towns without its dedicated volunteers – many return year after year. Ticket takers, popcorn makers, and more are needed. Volunteer Sign Up Day is Saturday May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Festival office in the water tower next to Frankie’s in Mendocino. If you’re unable to attend the Sign Up Day or you would like to volunteer in Point Arena, Philo, or Willits email volunteer@MendocinoFilmFestival.org.
