Boonville Spring Market

Saturday April 26 will be the final market of the season in front of the Boonville General Store, 11-1, rain or shine.  Anderson Valley Community Farm will be there with:  USDA lamb including leg steaks, ground, and bones, USDA pork chops, frozen chicken, braising greens, spring onions, green garlic, radishes, Hopi Blue corn plant starts, and more.Ron Rice will be there with the 375ml and 750ml bottles of the 2012 Extra Virgin Olive Oil.Jade will be there with garden starts: Summer and Winter Squash,  Heirloom and Paste Tomatoes, Japanese Cucumbers, Japanese Eggplants, Peppers and Broccoli.
Next Saturday, April 3 will be the opening of the summer Boonville Farmers' Market at the Boonville Hotel.  Valerie Kim has written the latest article for our "Connecting With Local Food" series.  It is entitled AVHS Student Leadership and Agriculture and is now posted at www.mendocinolocalfood.org.
