An Evening of Original Singer-Songwriter Entertainment at Lauren’s Restaurant in Downtown Boonville. Saturday, May 10. Show starts at 9pm. Good Food, fun and entertainment with good friends and great musicians, Jay Watkins and Jeff Falconer.
Singer/songwriter Jeff Falconer calls his approach "Loving Satire" because he has been, or is, guilty of all the Human quirks and excesses he has fun with. Jeff has been a performing musician for most of his life, since his first gig at age eight, on drums, at Mendocino County Fair in Ukiah, CA.
Loving Satire peppers Jeff's three solo discs and two more with his duo, Jaydub and Dino.
Jeff lives in Sonoma Valley, CA.
Jay W. Watkins — Rhythmic diversity has been a primary consideration in Jay’s writing, and “acoustic indie” is the genre that most closely encompasses his style. His current repertoire is an eclectic mix of heart felt songs consisting of recent compositions as well as some older tunes that still feel relevant. In the second half of 2011 Jay recorded two CD’s of his songs. The first of which, “As Good a Time as Any”, was released in 2012. The second CD “On The Ride” was released in January 2014. Jay lived in the Anderson Valley for many years. You may have seen him at the Variety Show!
Tickets: $10 at the door. A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Navarro River Resource Center, info 895-3230.
