Ukiah Valley Artist Cooperative Gallery

The UVAC is sponsoring their 6th Annual Ukiah Valley Artists Studio Tour. Visitors will find oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, photography, framing and pottery. The artists are opening their studios 2 days to allow ample time to visit all the artists in Ukiah & Redwood Valley from 10 am to 5 pm this is opportunity to meet the artists, to observe them at work and enjoy the fine art offered by local artists.

Pick up a map of the studio locations at the U.V.A.C. in the Pear Tree Center Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11 am to 5 pm or at The Grace Hudson Museum.

The Ukiah Valley Artists Gallery is located at 518 E. Perkins, in the Pear Tree Center.

Corner Gallery

Three family photographers Margot, Ilse and Tom Winters’ will be featured in Sept. Margot, Ilse and Tom Winters’ photos covers a lot of ground form the beauty of rural landscapes to the forms and colors of gritty urban scenes.

Also featuring Sid Greenup’s unique hand forged metal sculptures, that are a must see.

Grace Hudson Museum

Days Of Grace: Sept 6 - Dec 28. This landmark exhibit will bring together many of the existing paintings and sketches that Grace Hudson made in 1901 during a restorative stay in Hawaii. Featuring portraits of Native Hawaiian and Asian women and children, and charming landscapes and seascapes, they will be supplemented by Hawaiian artifacts Grace collected, her letters to and from family members during her sojourn, and photos she took of her surroundings. Included will be rare works from other painters active in Hawaii, such as watercolorist Helen Kelley, Californian artist Theodore Wores, volcano painter Charles Furneaux, Hawaiian artist D. Howard Hitchcock, and illustrator Charles Bradford Hudson.

Kit Elliot Gallery

Katherine Elliott's gallery is taking a break and won’t have a show in September but will open again for Art Walk in October with water colorist Sharon Fenton.
