According to German policy makers, free university education for all students is a basic right and that tuition fees would discriminate against and discourage poorer students from receiving a complete education.

This is sad. Those German kids will be way smarter than ours, and will be way more competetive in the global job market but they will miss out on being able to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and paying off a ton of student debt. Higher education should only be for the rich who can afford it anyway……..
