AV Foodshed News

For the Boonville Winter Market tomorrow we have:

Keeper Trout - mushrooms - Unless something catastrophic occurs, I'll be there with some lion's manes.

Petit Teton - We should be able to bring the usual, if there's no more frost, and you can add PORK - sausage, chops, bacon - and BEEF to our list. (regularly produce and their canned goods)

Yorkville Olive Ranch — It is likely that I will be at the Saturday market with the two sizes of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

WildeAcre Farm - I will have the usual yogurt, creme fraiche, water kefir, almond chia muffins and herbal tinctures/syrups.

We also might have some plant starts and more produce.

It's Variety Show weekend, so you never know what might happen. Come on down to the Boonville General Store on Saturday, 10-12:30, rain or shine (well, we can hope for rain). Bring along your insturment. We love music.

The AV Foodshed 3rd Sunday Potluck will be the evening of the AV Grange Pancake Breakfast in March. The Breakfast has been put off a week due the Variety Show this weekend. Our Potluck will begin at 6:00. After we dine, we welcome your input on our upcoming Goat Festival, which will be in conjunction with the Wildflower Show and the Dean Titus Dance in Apple Hall on Sat Apr 25. More info on all of that next Friday.

Please join us next Sun Mar 15 at the AV Grange with your potluck dish, your BYO dishes and your ideas for our 1st Annual Anderson Valley Goat Festival.

The time springs forward this weekend. If the Variety Show After Glow Party at Lauren's lasts long enough, the revelers can welcome in the time change :)
