This drone stuff is too disgusting. What is up with this drive-by kind of ‘foreign policy’ being presented as the Best We Can Do in the way of solving problems there and here? Exceedingly far from the best, if one’s original mission was complete failure and destruction, the current course of indifferent random killings fits the definition of Worst Conceivable Program of Action. It doesn’t get near significant numbers of Bad Guys, in the cost/benefit sense immediately, almost no bang for a very great many bucks. Long term, it makes war on civilian stand-by victims, a clear and self-evident war crime, and additionally it recruits more fresh terrorist replacements than you (or anyone) can shake a stick or a nuke at.

This isn’t what we mean when we say, “…we love Freedom, and you would too if you could get some…” Killing folks, any People, anywhere, with no declaration of war is criminal; Killing folks, or any degree of violation of Peoples’ Rights, with no warrant whatever, no phone call, no lawyer, no goddamned Miranda, thank you, no nothing, is criminal; Killing people in the street, any people of any imaginable color, is criminal whether you’re in uniform as a ‘peace officer’ or not; these are criminal in Jefferson like they’re criminal in Baghdad…they’re criminal in New York City like they’re criminal in the mountains of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Californistan.
