Change, changing places

I just got home from a week in Tampa, FL.  I had never been to Florida before.  What I can tell you is this: Gasparilla is no joke.  They take their pirating very seriously in those parts.  Also, the weather really is very, very nice.  Recommendations include both the brand new and awesomely fun Glazer Children's Museum and the lively Florida Aquarium.  Also while there, hop on a trolley to Ybor City and enjoy dinner at Columbia Restaurant.  Not only is it spectacular Spanish fare, but you can't beat table-side Flamenco dancing.  I mean it.  You just can't.   Another gem was The Rack.  Excellent sushi.

Other than the above, my trip consisted of work, coffee and the occasional Lego building project.  It's nice to be home.

Home.  Now there are three of us in this cozy little family.  My boy, myself, and my 16 year old niece.  We play Candy Land before school.  We hold hands before we eat dinner.  We share our chores.  So far, so good. And here's a geeky photo.  Because everyone loves a geeky photo:
