Kate Marianchild, author of Secrets of the Oak Woodlands, will lead an interpretive walk on March 21st at a private ranch in Yorkville. Kate will use her storyteller's passion to relate her extensive personal and scientific knowledge of the fascinating lives and interrelationships of animals, plants, trees and shrubs in our oak woodlands. The walk is sponsored by Anderson Valley Land Trust and will be approximately 1.5 miles in length — including some hilly terrain.
