Animal Rescue of Anderson Valley and Mendocino County Animal Care Services are cosponsoring a mobile adoption event at Friedman’s in Ukiah, on Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Local rescues Bug-A-Bull, Mendo Shelter Pets, and Rocket Dog Rescue will also be on hand with dogs and cats who are available for adoption. There will be a raffle with many prizes, including a free spay or neuter for a dog or cat, and activities for the family. Rich Molinari, the new shelter manager, will be available to meet the public.
